The title itself already conveys the essence of the work. The aim of this piece is to translate this poetic expression into a musical language. It appears that this composition narrates the story of the double bass itself rather than the double bass recounting the tales of others with its “four strings.” These narratives are concealed. As a result, the bass’s inherent noise is sampled, its sound is amplified, and its character is electronically transformed.
